Blogging for Beginners: In this 2 hour workshop, I cover the basics of creating, writing, promoting, and analyzing a blog. The workshop includes a variety of practical exercises aimed to help scientists write in ways that are easy to understand.
Science Career Paths: In this 40 minute talk, I discuss the many different career paths available to scientists both in and out of academia. The talk is aimed at trainees (graduate students and post docs) in the biological sciences. The goal of this talk is to show the trainees that they have many (fulfilling!) options and provide them with some tips on how to get non-academic jobs.
